OUTREACH

“I was hungry and you gave me food

I was thirsty and you gave me drink

I was a stranger and you welcomed me

I was naked and you clothed me

I was sick and you visited me…”
– Matthew 25:34-40

Reaching out to others . . .
in our parish and local community

The mission of our Outreach is to recognize the presence of Our Lord in each individual and respond in service to one another. We demonstrate our commitment to the call of the Gospel by assisting the poor, being present to the sick and sorrowing, serving those in need, reaching out to those who hunger for the Word of God and standing firmly against social injustice.

FOOD PANTRY AT WOODBURY PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH

Every Monday St. Maximilian Kolbe parish is in a partnership with Woodbury Presbyterian Church Food Pantry to serve the community who need temporary help with food and clothing.

WEEKLY COLLECTION OF FOOD FOR FOOD PANTRIES

All parishioners are invited to bring non-perishable food to Mass to help feed those in the community who are hungry.  Please leave in the food baskets next to the altar.

BEREAVEMENT MINISTRY

This ministry extends comfort to those who have lost loved ones through death.

PARISH FAMILY FINANCIAL SUPPORT

A portion of our parish tithe is used to assist families who have a temporary financial crisis.

DOMINICAN REPUBLIC – ST. MAXIMILIAN MIDDLE SCHOOL

Our tithe account has helped many in the parish and community.  By bringing hope through spiritual and academic education to the children and their families in the Dominican Republic is how the parish has walked with the Lord and how the parish has taken a leap of faith and allows the Lord to work through us as we build a school in the Dominican Republic before building a church for ourselves.
