Edith Heinsen – Evangelization & Faith Formation Commission
I am the chairperson of the Evangelization and Faith Formation Commission. I also serve as a catechist. I’m excited about working with a great group of people at St. Maximilian Kolbe to help spread the good news of our Lord Jesus Christ. Mary Braud – Pastoral Care & Social Justice Commission: I am the chairperson of the Pastoral Care & Social Justice Commission. The ministries under PC&SJ help our parish meet the needs of the poor and oppressed, both locally and globally. We strive to encourage parishioners to build a culture of life and transform social structures through family activities, parish involvement, and exercising good citizenship. Myself, my husband Cade, and daughters Savannah and Delaney seek to live the Mass by being active in many ministries within our great parish at St. Maximilian Kolbe. Sheila Madden – Stewardship & Development Commission
The Stewardship & Development Commission implements programs that increase parishioner’s awareness of stewardship concepts, challenges them to integrate stewardship into  their daily lives, develops plans to engage parishioners into active, full and conscious participation in the parish, and encourages generous sharing of financial resources.  We oversee the parish newsletter, website, ministry weekends, commissioning weekend, annual report, Our Catholic Appeal, Alive in Christ, sacrificial giving, fundraising applications, Crown Ministries, and children’s stewardship.  Sheila can be reached at 407-384-8805 or SandD@avaloncatholic.org
