The women’s bible study is a ministry all women in the parish are welcome to participate in. There are several groups meeting once a week in alternating homes. We are studying the bible along with other studies that encourage growth in knowledge of our faith and spirituality. It’s a great way to meet and get to know other women of our parish. To participate contact the leader, the womens bible study currently meets on Wed. evenings at 7pm.
El grupo de estudio bíblico de mujeres es un ministerio en el cual todas las mujeres de la parroquia están bienvenidas. Actualmente existen 4 grupos que se reúnen una vez por semana alternando en hogares particulares. Estudiamos la biblia y usamos diferentes recursos que alientan el crecimiento de sabiduría en nuestra fe y espiritualidad. Es una gran manera de conocer a otras mujeres de la parroquia. Puedes llamar al líder del grupo con el horario que mas te convenga.

The St. Maximilian Men’s Bible Study program delves into the meaning, intent and message of God’s word, as we share our thoughts and understanding of the scripture. We do this within a format that previews and discusses the upcoming Sunday readings using the Lectio Divina approach. Two exemplary Sunday reading discussions that we use can be found at www.catholicmensresources.org and www.salvationhistory.com However, our focus is always on the needs and desires of the group. One of the many benefits of using this Sunday reading approach is that missing a session or two in a row will not create any problems in jumping right back in.
El programa de Estudio de Biblia para hombres profundiza el sentido y el mensaje de la Palabra de Dios y al mismo tiempo se comparten pensamientos y comprensión de la Escritura. Esto se hace por medio del estudio de las lecturas del próximo Domingo usando el ‘Lectio Divina’. Se utilizan recursos como los de www.catholicmensresources.org y www.salvationhistory.com Nos enfocamos en las necesidades y deseos del grupo.
